10 Reasons to be Thankful You're a Scrapbooker

This is a little list Jodi and I put together so that you too can count your blessings this Thanksgiving. It can also serve as good justification for your hopeless addiction, so post the more altruistic ones on your mirror as a reaffirmation that scrapbooking is indeed a good hobby!

My blog today is very short since I’m having to pack and head out of town a day earlier than expected – the weather is supposed to turn bad tonight, so we thought we’d better leave while the leaving is good.

10 Reasons to be Thankful You're a Scrapbooker

  • You always have something to spend your money on!
  • You don’t need an excuse to take photos.
  • The satisfaction you feel when you complete an album, knowing that not only you, but your children and grandchildren will be able to enjoy it for years to come.
  • You are never bored on rainy days.
  • All the enjoyment you get from a night out cropping with friends.
  • The excitement you feel when you find a cool new tool, paper line, or embellishment.
  • Because you can appreciate the beauty in a single sheet of paper.
  • Because of all that blackmail material you know you have hidden away in your scrapbooks.
  • You no longer see the world in just red, blue, yellow, and orange, but in fired brick, azure, mustard seed, and pumpkin.
  • Because the most wonderful people in the world are scrapbookers!

An alternative list might go something like this - 10 Reasons I'm Thankful I Scrapbook: Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, Wausau Pearlescent & Metallic Cardstock, Around the Block, acrylic stamps, Ranger inks, Junkitz, Prima Marketing, Rouge de Garance, Crate Paper, K and Company, Doodle Bug, Bo Bunny, and..... oops, I think that's more than 10! Have a great day everyone!
